In addition to the convenience of cloud technology, the Heartland POS system allows you to continue to operate your restaurant in the event of a disruption in internet connectivity. The terminals will continue to communicate with each other over your restaurant’s internal network until connectivity to the internet is restored. You can continue to take and send orders to the kitchen, optimistically process credit cards, take cash payments, and print customer receipts. Once the internet connection is back up, all transaction data is automatically updated and synced with our cloud servers.
